Leave the bandage on for at least 4 hrs but no longer than 12 hrs. Remove the bandage and wash the tattoo with warm water using your clean hand and Dial Gold antibacterial soap only. Use a clean paper towel and dab dry. Extra ink may transfer to the paper towel, this is completely normal. Let air dry for 10 min. Put a thin coat of Aquaphor on the tattoo. The tattoo with Aquaphor should look like your normal clean hydrated skin. If the tattoo is gloopy or soggy you have too much Aquaphor on it and need to dab off the excess with a clean paper towel. For the first 3 nights wash and dry the tattoo, spray a thin coat of Bactine on it, wrap with Saran Wrap and go to bed. Wash, dry and re applyAquaphor in the morning. You should only need to wash and re apply Aquaphor during the day if the tattoo is dry,  especially during the peeling stage, or excessively dirty.
DO NOT soak in water (quick showers are fine), pick, or suntan.
